Emily teaches a range of yoga styles which can be tailored to suit the needs of the students attending. Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic, flowing, fun style of yoga which focusses on the connection of the breath with the movement. Yin yoga gives the participant the opportunity to turn in, rest and restore optimal function of the Nervous System. These styles of yoga can be used independently or fused.
One of the beautiful things about yoga is that everyone can enjoy the many benefits of practicing. For example many people attend yoga classes to increase strength, co-ordination, fitness, flexibility and muscle tone. Others may enjoy the chance to escape to a peaceful environment and receive the benefits of relaxation, pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. It doesn’t matter what draws you to come to a class, you can reap all of these benefits.
Emily provides private classes for individuals or groups. This may appeal to you if you are new to yoga and would like to learn each posture with professional guidance, or if you have an injury and would like a personalised program to promote rehabilitation.
